Corfu Hotel Reviews

Costas Golden Beach

Located in Aghios Georgios, could this be the best hotel for Corfu holidays ?

According to guests who have stayed there before – and return time and again – it certainly ranks as one of the best Corfu hotels.

The staff give a warm Greek welcome, and with just 40 rooms it’s small enough to care for each guest but big enough to provide all the comforts and amenities holidaymakers want.

One company who include this among their hotels in Corfu is Thomson Holidays. They say that it’s just a five minute walk to the town, and the beach is right in front of the hotel. It has a pool.

They claim it as exclusive to themselves so you need to search their site rather than other tour operators such as Thomas Cook Holidays - from everything we’ve seen it’s certainly worth shortlisting.

Delfino Blu Boutique

Boutique hotels are in vogue for couples who want somewhere that gives great personal service, and is small enough to care but at the same time provides great facilities.

If you’re looking for cheap Corfu hotels, boutique style ones don’t often fall into that category.

But the Delfino Blu is certainly worth paying a little more for as it gets rave reviews.

Looking at a Corfu map it’s located in Agios Stefanos.

And some guests say it is the perfect place for them, how good the staff are, and that they will be visiting again.
Overlooking a great beach that is considered safe with 12 apartments and 3 suites, it has its own pool and considering it’s one of the classiest Corfu hotels, the rates are pretty good too.

Romanza

Another one which is popular, with many guests returning multiple times – a sure sign that it’s as good as people say it is.

Located, like the Costas Golden Beach, in Aghios Stefanos, it’s got views over the bay and Mediterranean that’s the envy of other Corfu hotels.

If it’s the weather and beach you’re after, it’s a good location to enjoy the Corfu weather - and if you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate an anniversary or even possibly considering getting married on the island, the Romanza could be worth looking at.

A good size swimming pool with a separate children’s area, and good friendly staff all add up to a good base for Corfu holidays.

Villa Holidays

There are two types of accommodation holidaymakers take on the island – the hotels in Corfu being the choice for the majority, but there are a significant numbers who rent a villa.

Quite a few people consider Corfu villa holidays to be expensive but if there is a family visiting who would take two or three rooms at one of the hotels in Corfu this isn’t necessarily the case.

Companies who include the island in their portfolio include for example well known James Villas who have a good reputation.

It’s surprising just how cheap it can be.

Olympian Village, Kavos

Sometimes budgets mean that cheap Corfu hotels are the order of the day, and often you get what you pay for, and one choice that often features is the Olympian Village But the good news is that while some might be cheap, you can still book with reliable companies like Thomas Cook Holidays and Thomson.

The Olympian Village has a mix of 19 apartments and 41 studios, and the complex has a good size swimming pool, with the beach ten minutes walk.

But this is really for those who are looking for nightlife, and Kavos isn’t suited for a family holiday, more for the 18-30 set.
